Howard's story


I have spent more than twenty years in senior care, and it has always come down to one thing: helping a family find the right people at the right moment.

I have built and led companies across senior housing, home care, and the technology behind them. What stayed with me was never the business side of it. It was the families, watching good people struggle to know who to call when a loved one suddenly needed help.

FirstCall is my answer to that. Over the years I have built real relationships with the people I trust most in this field: the care managers, home care teams, placement specialists, and at-home medical providers who genuinely look after the people they serve. When you call, you are not reaching a directory or a call center. You are reaching someone who knows these people personally, and who will stay with you as your needs change.

That is the whole idea. One trusted call, and a real person on the other end.

Why FirstCall exists


The senior-care world is large, fragmented, and confusing, and families usually have to navigate it during a stressful moment. FirstCall exists to make that first step simple: one call, an honest conversation, and an introduction to a provider we trust.

How we work, and how we are paid

FirstCall is free to families. We are paid a referral fee by the provider when an introduction becomes a client. We only list providers we would send our own family to, and we tell you plainly who we are recommending and why.
