How we are paid
FirstCall is free to families and free to caregivers. We are paid in two ways:
- Referral fees. When we introduce a family to a senior-care provider and that introduction becomes a client, the provider pays us a referral fee. We only list providers we would send our own family to, and we tell you plainly who we are recommending and why.
- Affiliate commissions. Some product and service links on our Marketplace pages are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, FirstCall may earn a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you, and it never changes the price you pay.
Affiliate disclosure
In keeping with Federal Trade Commission guidelines, please assume that any outbound product or service link in a FirstCall Marketplace section may be an affiliate link, and that FirstCall may receive a commission if you make a purchase through it. We only feature products and partners we believe are genuinely useful to families, caregivers, and the businesses we serve. A commission never determines whether something appears here, and it never costs you anything extra.
Licensed and regulated products
Anything that is licensed or regulated, such as insurance, certification, or continuing education, is offered as a referral to a licensed or accredited provider. FirstCall does not sell insurance, issue certifications, or provide regulated services itself. We simply point you to credentialed providers and let them do what they are licensed to do.
